Itching to predict who will launch a homerun tonight? You're not alone!
While predicting a homerun is tricky we can help provide you the data and predictions to make more informed bets.
We analyze hot streaks, hitter-pitcher matchups, weather, and even offer historical home run data to create a shortlist of potential home run hitters for you.
Phillies' Kyle Schwarber Over 0.5 HR vs. Mets (+390, FanDuel)
The Phillies scored 10 runs yesterday off of LHP Joey Lucchesi and the Mets, but unfortunately, not a single one of them came off of a Kyle Schwarber home run. We took him yesterday +360 to go deep, but instead, he went 2-for-4 with an RBI and run scored. Now, we are getting +390 odds on him to hit a long ball today, and I am going right back to the well with another fantastic matchup for him on the mound. We did hit on Adolis Garcia at +265 to hit a home run at least.
LHP Jose Quintana will get the ball for New York tonight, and he has been horrendous so far in his outings. He owns a massive 6.20 xERA and 4.56 xFIP, and I would anticipate him getting smacked around just as much as Lucchesi did yesterday up there. The Phillies are great against left-handed pitching, owning a 119 wRC+ as an offense against them.
We saw Schwarber have success at the plate yesterday, even if he didn't go deep. However, he is on the verge of hitting a home run with how long it has been since he last hit one, and this is as juicy of a matchup as he will find. He's batting .333 with a .921 OPS vs. left-handers so far this season, with a double and three homers in just 66 at-bats.
I am projecting this around +310, so the value is there.
These are some other players that I will be sprinkling to hit a homer tonight:
Shea Langeliers, Athletics: +285
*Reminder that a sprinkle is more like pizza money, so don't go crazy on long odds
Need some RBI props for today's games? We have you covered, check out our favorite RBI prop bets.
Phillies' Alec Bohm Over 0.5 RBI vs. Mets (+143, BetRivers)
The Phillies scored 10 runs, and somehow, the guy in the cleanup spot didn't get a single RBI in the game for them. That is very rare and unlikely, but that was just our luck yesterday. We did hit on Garcia to get an RBI when he homered for us. Today, I am once again just going with the same play at +143 odds here for Bohm to get us an RBI in the cleanup spot against Quintana and the Mets.
As mentioned as part of yesterday's article, Bohm has been destroying left-handed pitching so far this season. He's batting .352 with a .991 OPS against them, including 17 of his 35 RBI on the year in just 54 at-bats. He's in a great spot tonight to pick one up, and I am not going to be afraid to bet him against after he didn't cash for us yesterday when his team scored 10 runs.
I have this projected at +126, so I'll take the value again.
These are some other players that I will be sprinkling to get an RBI tonight:
Shea Langeliers, Athletics: +140

Phillies' Alec Bohm Over 1.5 Total Bases vs. Mets (+117, DraftKings)
In fact, I am so confident that Bohm will have a bounce-back night, that I am also going to bet him to get 2+ total bases for us at +117 odds right now. We backed Realmuto here yesterday, and he went 1-4 with a single of course. Garcia cashed for us again at least.
As I talked about, Bohm crushes left-handers, and with the awful arm of Quintana up there, I love his chances to get multiple bases here. In those 54 total at-bats against LHPs, Bohm has six doubles and two homers.
I have this projected at around +100 or so.
These are some other players that I will be sprinkling to get 2+ total bases tonight:
Shea Langeliers, Athletics: +114
We are on different types of MLB player prop bets every day during the season, so in this pitching prop section you may find strikeout prop bets, earned runs allowed prop bets, total outs recorded bets and more as the season progresses and we gather more data on these pitchers. Dodgers' RHP Tyler Glasnow Over 8.5 Strikeouts vs. Reds (+104, FanDuel)
Obviously, this is a huge total for any pitcher to get over, but if anyone can do it tonight, Glasnow can. He's been a strikeout machine lately, and now he gets to face a Reds lineup that has been getting rung up at one of the highest rates in MLB. Cincinnati owns a massive 26.8% strikeout rate against right-handed pitching so far in 2024, which is the second-highest in the league.
I am projecting this closer to -127, so I love getting plus money here.
Athletics' RHP Joey Estes Under 3.5 Strikeouts at Astros (+110, DraftKings)
Anyone who is facing the Astros lineup is in for a tough time when it comes to generating strikeouts, as they just don't get rung up very often at all. They own the lowest strikeout rate of any team in baseball against right-handers, getting punched out on just 17.3% of their at-bats against them.
I am projecting this closer to -116, so again, I love getting this +110 number at DraftKings right now on his under.

MLB player props add an exciting layer to baseball betting by letting you wager on individual player performance, not just the game's outcome. Imagine you think a hitter is due for a big night – you can bet on whether they'll have more than a certain number of hits, RBIs (Runs Batted In), or even home runs. Pitchers get in on the action too, with props on strikeouts, walks, or innings pitched. These bets are typically presented in an "Over/Under" format, so you wager on whether the player's stat will be higher (Over) or lower (Under) than the number set by the sportsbook.
Example: You log on to DraftKings Sportsbook and go to an MLB game between the Cubs and White Sox. Scrolling to the player props tab, you'll see all kinds of props for you to bet on in the game. You consult this page and find that you really like a best bet on Luis Robert to get 2+ hits at -110 odds. If Robert is able to get two hits in the game of any kind, you win the bet!
You can place these bets at any sportsbook of your choosing, but we recommend using whatever book gives you the best number. If one book is offering -120, while the other is offering -110 and you want to bet it, always take the -110.
The most popular MLB prop bets fall into two categories: hitting and pitching.
For hitters, fans love to chase the thrill of the long ball, making home run props the most popular. You can bet on a player to hit zero, one, or even two or more home runs in a game.
Following closely behind are strikeout props for pitchers. Here, you bet on whether a pitcher will record more (Over) or less (Under) than a specific number of strikeouts during their outing.
