Astros' Yordan Alvarez Over 0.5 HR at Rockies (+150, DraftKings)
Just like yesterday, it would be foolish to go with any other home run props than the ones we are getting in this game. We had 16 runs scored in Mexico City yesterday, with most of those coming courtesy of the Astros, and I expect much of the same today between these two teams. We took Yainer Diaz in this spot yesterday because the sportsbooks weren't even offering Alvarez to hit a homer, that is how likely he was to go yard. Indeed, he went yard, twice actually.
He gets another very juicy matchup here with LHP Austin Gomber, who is on the mound for the Rockies today. He's been as terrible as ever, owning a 5.24 xERA and 4.22 xFIP, and now he has to play in this ballpark. I don't expect it to be a pretty outing for him, much like his teammate Cal Quantrill suffered yesterday against this Astros offense.
Need some RBI props for today's games? We have you covered, check out our favorite RBI prop bets.
Astros' Yainer Diaz Over 0.5 RBI at Rockies (-140, DraftKings)
The sportsbooks were offering props for Alvarez to get an RBI yesterday, and we cashed in on that easily at -174. Yes, a man was -174 to get an RBI. That is just insane, and you will never see odds like that anywhere else but in a Mexico City series. We have similar juiced odds today with Diaz at -140, which I still don't think is juiced enough considering the location and the pitcher that he is facing.
While he didn't get us a homer yesterday, Diaz was lighting up the scoreboard in just about every other way, of course. He went 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI, while crossing the plate three times. Colorado had no answer for him and he completely dominated their pitching staff. I think he can get us another RBI today.

Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 TB at Blue Jays (-115, DraftKings)
We took Yandy Diaz in this spot yesterday, but he ended up not playing with his questionable designation, so we just got the void. Today, we'll be backing one of the biggest stars in the game to get us 2+ total bases in Shohei Ohtani, who has been nothing short of brilliant since coming across town to the Dodgers from the Angels.
Ohtani is batting .347 with seven homers and 18 RBI, generating an OPS of 1.071. He's been simply incredible to watch, crushing everyone at the plate, and he will get another good matchup here today against RHP Kevin Gausman and the Blue Jays.
Gausman has fallen off the proverbial cliff, so to speak. He's been a disaster this season, owning a massive 6.31 xERA and 4.11 xFIP, a huge change from last season when he was one of the better pitchers in the league. He's allowed 27 hits in 21 innings, as well as 13 earned runs and three home runs.
We are on different types of MLB player prop bets every day during the season, so in this pitching prop section you may find strikeout prop bets, earned runs allowed prop bets, total outs recorded bets and more as the season progresses and we gather more data on these pitchers. If it is an MLB prop bet about the big man on the hill you will find it here!

Orioles RHP Albert Suarez Over 4.5 Strikeouts vs. Athletics (+104, BetRivers)
That's three straight days where we go 1-1 on strikeout props, we just can't seem to go green on both of them, but I guess it is better than full fading. It's been the overs that have been losing, so let's see if we can finally hit one here by taking Suarez to get five strikeouts against the Oakland Athletics.
Suarez has been pretty good up to this point, owning a 2.63 xERA and 4.09 xFIP. He doesn't have spectacular stuff, but it should be good enough to fool five A's batters. They are striking out at the second-highest rate in baseball against right-handers, getting rung up on 28% of their at-bats. Not to mention they are terrible in general against them with an 82 wRC+ as an offense, so Suarez shouldn't get hammered.
Rockies SP Austin Gomber Under 3.5 Strikeouts vs. Astros (-175, DraftKings)
I know this is juiced to the moon, but that is because the chances that Gomber gets 4 Ks in this game are really low. He's been awful, owning a 5.24 xERA and 4.22 xFIP, and now has to pitch in Mexico City. He'll likely get shelled by an Astros offense that has absolutely decimated left-handers, owning a massive 125 wRC+ as a lineup.
Not only that, but Houston has the third-lowest strikeout rate against them in MLB, getting punched out on only 16.7% of their at-bats.

MLB player props add an exciting layer to baseball betting by letting you wager on individual player performance, not just the game's outcome. Imagine you think a hitter is due for a big night – you can bet on whether they'll have more than a certain number of hits, RBIs (Runs Batted In), or even home runs. Pitchers get in on the action too, with props on strikeouts, walks, or innings pitched. These bets are typically presented in an "Over/Under" format, so you wager on whether the player's stat will be higher (Over) or lower (Under) than the number set by the sportsbook.
Example: You log on to DraftKings Sportsbook and go to an MLB game between the Cubs and White Sox. Scrolling to the player props tab, you'll see all kinds of props for you to bet on in the game. You consult this page and find that you really like a best bet on Luis Robert to get 2+ hits at -110 odds. If Robert is able to get two hits in the game of any kind, you win the bet!
You can place these bets at any sportsbook of your choosing, but we recommend using whatever book gives you the best number. If one book is offering -120, while the other is offering -110 and you want to bet it, always take the -110.
Indeed, we are going to crush MLB again this year, so subscribe today and let's send the books into panic mode.
MLB player props, short for "proposition bets," are wagers in baseball that focus on the performance of individual players, separate from the final outcome of the game. Instead of betting on which team wins, you can predict a player's statistical output in various categories.
These bets are usually offered in an "Over/Under" format. You wager on whether a player's stat will be higher (Over) or lower (Under) than the number the sportsbook sets.
The most popular MLB prop bets fall into two categories: hitting and pitching.
For hitters, fans love to chase the thrill of the long ball, making home run props the most popular. You can bet on a player to hit zero, one, or even two or more home runs in a game.
Following closely behind are strikeout props for pitchers. Here, you bet on whether a pitcher will record more (Over) or less (Under) than a specific number of strikeouts during their outing.
