MLB Moneyline Pick Of The Day

Giants ML vs. Pirates (-140, Caesars)

The first game that I am targeting today is in San Francisco, where the Pittsburgh Pirates will be taking on the Giants.

Pittsburgh will send LHP Martin Perez to the mound, and he has been one of my favorite fade candidates for a while now. He owns a 4.59 xERA and 4.28 xFIP, indicating that he is little more than a mediocre pitcher at best so far this season. The Giants don't have the best offense in the world, but they are middle of the pack against left-handed pitching, so I think they should be able to put up some runs here against Perez.

On the other side, RHP Jordan Hicks gets one of his easier matchups of the season against a Pirates offense that ranks 25th in the league with an 85 wRC+ vs. right-handers. He's been solid this season, owning a 2.75 xERA and 4.42 xFIP. While he isn't spectacular, he still is one of the more decent pitchers on today's slate of games.

MLB Over/Under Picks Of The Day

Astros at Rockies Over 16.5 (-110, BetMGM)

This game isn't actually being played in Colorado, and instead will be played in a ballpark that is somehow BETTER for offense than Coors Field. Yes, ladies and gentleman, it is the return of the Mexico City Series. These games are always extremely high-scoring due to how small the ballpark is and the high altitude. Think of it as Coors Field on steroids.

I expect both teams to be launching nukes out of the stadium all game long, so much so that Astros' hitter Yordan Alvarez isn't even listed for a HR prop at the books. He's so likely to hit one today that they won't take action on it. Just incredible.

Don't overthink it.

MLB Run Line Pick Of The Day

Rays -1.5 at White Sox (-120, Caesars)

Daily bet on the run line against the White Sox.

RHP Civale: 3.04 xERA, 3.36 xFIP vs. Chicago's 72 wRC+ vs. RHPs

RHP Cannon: 6.27 xERA, 3.41 xFIP vs. Tampa's 103 wRC+ vs. RHPs

MLB Picks: Moneyline Bets

When it comes to MLB betting, moneyline bets are a fan favorite. It's a straightforward bet where you simply choose the team you believe will win the game outright. In MLB moneyline betting, the favorite is represented by a negative number (e.g., -200), indicating the amount you need to bet to win $100. On the other hand, the underdog is represented by a positive number (e.g., +500), indicating the potential winnings on a $100 bet. Our MLB experts utilize BetQL's MLB model to provide you with well-informed MLB moneyline bets that maximize your chances of success.

MLB Picks: Run Line Bets

Betting against the spread, also known as the Run Line (RL), is a highly popular MLB betting strategy. In MLB run line betting, the favored team is listed with a negative number (e.g., -1.5), indicating the number of runs they need to win by. The underdogs are listed with a positive number (e.g., +1.5), which means they can either lose by a run or win the game outright for your run line bet to be successful. Unlike other sports, MLB games cannot end in a tie, eliminating the possibility of a "push." Rely on our MLB experts to guide you with their carefully crafted run line bets.

MLB Picks: Over/Under (Total) Bets

If you enjoy predicting the total number of runs scored in a game, then over/under (total) bets are perfect for you. In MLB, game totals usually range from six to 13 runs. A "push" occurs when the total points scored in the game exactly matches the specified total. You can also explore MLB team total betting, which focuses on predicting the total points scored by a specific team. Additionally, delve into MLB first five innings (F5) totals or MLB first half over/unders, which predict the total points scored in the first five innings of a game. To enhance your chances of success, our experts have developed value models specifically designed to identify MLB games with the most value for spread bets, moneyline bets and totals.

MLB Picks: Betting the First 5 Innings

For those seeking early-game action, MLB first-five betting is ideal. You can place moneyline bets or run line bets specifically for the first five innings of a game. Typically, first five innings moneyline bets offer lower odds compared to full-game moneylines. This type of betting is popular among bettors targeting heavily favored teams in matchups. Don't underestimate underdogs, especially home teams that tend to perform well in front of their fans before talent takes hold in the later innings. Our experts provide valuable insights to help you make informed decisions for MLB first five innings bets.

MLB Picks: Player Props

Looking for a more individualized betting experience? Player props allow you to wager on the performance of specific players in an MLB game. Whether it's hitting home runs, getting RBIs, stealing bases, or achieving other milestones, player props offer a wide variety of betting options. You can also bet on pitchers, such as predicting their wins, strikeouts, runs conceded, and more. Every game offers a myriad of player prop bets, so explore the options available at your favorite bookmaker.
